My name is Paloma Piaff and I am a french artist.
My art has antecedents in artistic movements such as Cubism, Dadaism, Modernism and some Pop-Art influences, more specifically inspired by the work of artists such as Picasso, Hannah Hoch, Jesse Treece, John Stezaker, Lola Dupre, Man Ray and, more indirectly , by Mimmo Rotella, Peter Blake, Eileen Agar, Nancy Spero, Raoul Hausmann and Kurt Schwitters.

Through photographic manipulation and the use of digital collages, I work with analog and more recently digital photographs, playing with overlapping shapes, colors, altering the space and the photographic context. I reinvent stories, cultivate the imagination.
My technique is open, spontaneous and marked by an abstract and geometric awareness. In the most geometric and abstract compositions I question the pictorial space and explore the limits of photography as a medium.
